Learn the craft of King Islands produce from where it is sourced by one of the many produce experiences the Island has to offer.
King Island Distillery
Made on King Island, Heidi Weitjens handcrafts bespoke spirits in her Pot Stills called ‘Copper Angels’ at 40 Degrees South in Tasmania’s Northernmost Distillery. Boutique batches of Native Gin, Ruby Vodka, 40°S Vodka and Distillery Choice Single Malt Whisky, are all ready to be enjoyed now. You may just find your new favourite tipple. Tastings, sales and tours are available at the distillery and you'll also find products stocked at venues around the island.
King Island Brew House
King Island Brewhouse is a locally owned craft brewery producing beer, cider and other fermented beverages for locals and visitors alike. Corey and Sarah Brazendale opened the brewhouse in April 2020 and you'll also find their refreshing products stocked at local establishments around the island. Tastings and tours are available at the onsite taphouse - please call ahead to book.
KING ISLAND DAIRY CHEESE STORE
A true cheese lovers' paradise with a range of award-winning cheese available for purchase, tasting and dining in. Settle in and enjoy their signature cheese platters or baked brie available with matching wine and beer while you take in the picturesque surroundings. Groups of eight or more are kindly asked to book tastings in advance. Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday from 11am-4.30pm.
