REFUND POLICY for KING ISLAND TOURISM INC

The terms and conditions, the completed booking and refund policy contain the terms of the agreement between you (the Client) and King Island Tourism Inc (trading as King Island Tourism Inc).

 

The following outlines KING ISLAND TOURISM INC’s Refund Policy with regards to products and services.

All services and products are to be paid for in full upon booking.

King Island Tourism Inc does not provide refunds if client’s change their minds or make a wrong decision.  If a Client cancels their registration for King Island Tourism Inc products or services King Island Tourism Inc may, in it’s absolute discretion and on application by the Client, refund part of the fees. Where King Island Tourism Inc exercises it’s discretion to refund part of the access fee the refund will be not more than 80% of the fee remaining from the time of cancellation to the end of the service period. 

King Island Tourism Inc will provide a refund or replacement product in the following circumstances:

  • a product or service ordered by the client is no longer available;
  • King Island Tourism Inc cancels a product or service in part or in full;
  • the product does not meet with the clients approval;
  • the price charged varies from the advertised price or the amount paid by the client;
  • King Island Tourism Inc replaces a prepaid product or service with a one at a lesser price;
  • the person or organisation billed did not originate the charge as a result of fraudulent use of credit cards or other such circumstances.

This policy is subject to any specific licence agreement or contract applicable to specific products and services.  Please see below for further information.

Product or Service No Longer Available
In the case that a product or service has been purchased and King Island Tourism Inc is unable to supply that product or service due to the fact that it is no longer available, the client may request a full refund.

Disapproval

A refund may only be considered in the case that the client’ s disapproval of the product is attributable in whole to an error on the part of King Island Tourism Inc which is acknowledged by King Island Tourism Inc. King Island Tourism Inc will not unreasonably deny the commission of an error that may cause eligibility for refund.

 

Price Reductions

In the event that the cost of a product or service decreases prior to delivery, the client shall be entitled to a refund totalling the difference in costs.

In the event that a product or service is replaced by one at a lesser price prior to delivery, the client shall be entitled to a refund totalling the difference in costs.

Proof of Purchase

A Client is required to provide proof of purchase for all products and/or services for which a refund is sought. Proof of purchase includes the reference number/name for the purchase and may also include credit card details; cheque details; or the lost pet’s registration number/name.

 

Form of Refunds

A refund will be provided in the form of electronic transfer of funds to a nominated bank account or via cheque only.

 

POLICY CHANGES

Changing technology, and legal developments, this Policy may be changed from time to time in King Island Tourism Inc sole discretion and without any prior notice or liability to you or any other person.
