Wild Harvest

Wild Harvest has won no end of accolades since the doors first opened in October 2015. This restaurant, located on the south-east coast of King Island in Grassy, has succeeded in its aim of showcasing the best of King Island’s abundant produce in an unrivalled gastronomical experience. If the sweeping views of Bass Strait and the innovative use of building materials from King Island’s rich history weren’t enough to whet the appetite then the plates of lovingly prepared local produce certainly will.

Of course, the world-famous local beef features prominently on the menu but this restaurant is by no means a one-trick pony. Locally sourced lamb, freshly caught seafood and a range of seasonal Tassie delights feature throughout the year.

Wild Harvest was closed for a few months over winter but the new chef and his team are back with a bang in October and looking forward to showcasing the freshest of local ingredients in the most delightful of surroundings. As one guest recently stated about his visit, “Absolutely incredible experience. The fresh food sourced locally really needs to be tasted to be appreciated. I have dined at some of the most exclusive restaurants throughout the world but this truly would have to be one of the best.”
