Bold Views is conveniently close to King Island highlights such as the penguin parade on Grassy Harbour. There are also an array of excellent fishing, surfing and swiming beaches a short drive away in addition to a range of walks which allow you to really get away from it all.  Currie is a 20 minute drive away with the new Ocean Dunes Golf Course being a few additional minutes further. Cape Wickham, another world-renowned golf course is at the top of King Island which will allow you time to enjoy lunch at the clubhouse. If you don’t fancy going far then pull up a chair on the deck where the view will entertain you for hours. If the weather closes in, light the fire, pour a glass of red, put your feet up on the coffee table and waste the afternoon watching all the moods of Bass Strait. If you feel like cooking up a storm you won’t miss out… from the kitchen window you look straight out over the ocean to Bold Head. The view will even kick start your day when you open the curtains in the bedroom.
