TRAVEL PERKS FOR KING ISLAND – $300 VOUCHERS

The State Government has unveiled new travel initiatives to encourage more people to visit King Island.

A new Travel Incentive scheme will be made available to 700 bookings. $300 vouchers will be put towards the cost of accommodation and tourism experiences on the island undertaken between May 1 and July 31 2022. The program will launch in early April.

CHANGED TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR TASMANIA FOR VACCINATED TRAVELLERS

Fully vaccinated travellers, or those with an exemption, do not need to register to enter Tasmania or undertake COVID-19 testing prior to arrival.

You should carry proof of vaccination as this may be required to be provided on entry

Do not travel to Tasmania if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

 

Unvaccinated travellers must apply for approval to enter Tasmania. If approved, testing and quarantine conditions will apply.
